Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to bookings for SHYNE Mobile Auto Care (“SHYNE”, “we”, “us”) and the customer (“you”).

Version: 29 October 2026

1. Services and pricing

SHYNE provides mobile vehicle cleaning and detailing at the agreed location. Your booking covers the selected package, vehicle sizes and agreed extras. If the vehicle needs work beyond the selected scope, we will explain any additional cost and obtain your agreement before proceeding.

2. Access and safe working space

You must have authority to book the vehicle and arrange safe, reasonable access, any necessary keys and permission to use the site. Remove obstructions and tell us about access restrictions or hazards. We may pause or decline work where access or conditions are unsafe, and will discuss an alternative with you.

3. Cancellations, rescheduling and no access

Please give at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A cancellation within 12 hours, or a missed appointment because agreed vehicle access is unavailable, may incur a fee of up to 10% of the booking value, limited to reasonable loss caused by the missed booking. No duplicate cancellation and no-access fee will be charged. Exceptional circumstances are assessed individually.

4. Weather and changes by SHYNE

If weather prevents safe, quality work, SHYNE will arrange another appointment at no extra charge. No late cancellation fee applies when SHYNE reschedules because of weather. If we cannot provide the agreed service, you may choose a suitable alternative time or a refund of any amount paid for the unprovided service.

5. Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage

Tell us before work begins about existing damage, loose trim, paint or coating issues, delicate finishes, aftermarket fittings and other known concerns. We may document vehicle condition before and after the service. We are not responsible for damage that already existed or was not caused by our work.

6. Specialist and high-value vehicles

Please tell us before booking about unusual, specialist or high-value vehicles so we can confirm the service is suitable and any special arrangements required.

7. Personal items and contactless access

Customers are responsible for removing all personal belongings, valuables and loose items before their appointment. SHYNE does not take responsibility for the safekeeping of items left inside the vehicle and is not liable for loss or damage to those items, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Contactless key access and return arrangements must be agreed before service.

8. Photos and payments

We take before-and-after photos to document the work and send them before payment is taken. Permission to use identifiable photos for public marketing is separate from booking acceptance. Payment is due after completion unless another arrangement is expressly agreed. Saved payment methods and recurring charges require separate customer authorisation through the payment provider; ticking this checkbox does not authorise future card charges.

9. Concerns and remedies

Please contact us promptly if you have a concern so we can assess it and discuss an appropriate remedy. We may request photos or an opportunity to inspect the vehicle. There is no same-day reporting deadline that removes your consumer rights. Any repair, repeat service, refund or compensation will be provided as required by law.

10. Recurring services and offers

Fortnightly or monthly Maintenance Cleans require the vehicle to meet the package’s condition requirements. Each visit is charged at the agreed rate, with no lock-in contract unless separately agreed. You may cancel future visits with at least 12 hours’ notice; the cancellation policy above applies to an imminent appointment. Missed visits and weather-related changes are not automatically forfeited. The Family Deal gives $25 AUD off each additional vehicle at the same address during the same visit; extras are charged separately.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SHYNE’s liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Governing law and acceptance

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or court rights that apply to you. You accept the displayed version by actively ticking the acceptance box before continuing. Your appointment is only confirmed through the booking service. Any material change to these terms must be disclosed before it applies to a new booking.
